Yann SENCE, né à Angers (Maine et loire) le 20 janvier 1957, est un sculpteur français autodidacte. Il travaille à Sainte-Feyre, près de Guéret (Creuse).

Né à Angers, Yann SENCE étudie à l'école d'architecture de Bordeaux. A 23 ans il se lance dans une carrière d'artiste peintre, après avoir été dessinateur pendant son service militaire. Passionné par l'utilisation de l'ordinateur dans l'art, il étudie l'informatique et devient analyste programmeur à 30 ans. Lors d'une exposition à Bénévent-l'Abbaye (Creuse), il est conquis par la beauté symbolique des sculptures de son église abbatiale et décide d'apprendre la sculpture. Il se forme auprès des professionnels de la taille de granite et oriente ses activités d'artiste vers la sculpture. Afin de pouvoir installer son atelier en Creuse, il passe un concours de l'éducation nationale et devient Professeur des écoles à Guéret (Creuse) à 33 ans. Il étudie la géologie locale afin de trouver dans le Limousin les matières minérales les plus esthétiques pour ses créations. En 2015, il installe à Bénévent-l'Abbaye un atelier d'exposition permanente où il présente son travail en compagnie d'autres artistes : l'Atelier Art et Artisanat. Cet atelier est transféré à Sainte-Feyre (Creuse), là où il habite, en 2020. Cet espace lui permet d'exposer ses œuvres à proximité de son lieu de sculpture, ainsi que les tableaux de mosaïque de Carol SENCE.
