王艺，原名王让民。1964年出生，陕西省长安区人。1980年入伍，任中国人民解放军00010部队文书。1990年毕业于西安美术学院国画人物系专业。师从著名画家王西京。国家一级美术师、中国美术家协会会员、中国书画家协会理事、中国人民大学徐悲鸿艺术学院、长安美术家协会副主席、长安中国画研究院院长、文化部老艺术家协会会员、北京海淀区书协会员、广州新世纪书画院理事、云南大学客座教授。 曾先后在国内外报刊发表作品计上百幅，出版有《王艺书集》《王艺书画集》《王艺书法集》《王艺情感散文集》。在国内外大型画展中获金、银、铜奖等，先后在陕西、广东、四川、北京等地区成功举办画展10多次，并多次出访讲学，受到各界人士和同行的赞誉。2003年任广东贺州画院，云南大学，广东罗定艺术学校，陕西西安艺术学院客座教授。现任中国广东肇庆中国画研究院常务副院长，秘书长。国家一级美术师、研究员、教授、2004年获由国家文化部授予的“全国百佳书画名家”称号。
