The painter Yair Shoshani works and lives in Brooklyn, New York. He is one of the most famous portrait painters in New York.
This painter, whose artworks have been highly demanded by famous personalities, started painting since he was a child. He started loving the art, because of his grandfather, who was an art gallery owner. Shoshani art training
Shoshani began his art training at an early age of fourteen. He continued while in high school and later enrolled in The New York University College of Arts and Science. There Shoshani graduated from this university and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in History of Arts.
After graduating, he enrolled in an apprenticeship in Italy and France. In 2000, he finally settled down in Brooklyn, NY, where he opened his atelier.
Yair Shoshani gets his inspiration mostly from the Basque and French Impressionists. His artworks clearly show his mastery of drawing and using light and color.
