I was born and raised here in Jonesborough, TN.(The oldest town in TN)Since I was about 5 or 6 I remember drawing, it started out because I would get bored at church. Thank god for parents who made you go. I traveled alot as a child mainly to New York (my mom is from Kings Highway), and I also traveled to Florida alot because my father lives in Destin.
New York was one of my biggest ispirations, and still is. Every trip we took up there I would come back with (in my opinion) some of my best drawings.
Anyway I lived in Florida for my freshman year and didnt complete much artwork, I think it was the flat landscape. I have to have the mountains around me. Well I came back to TN and finished the rest of highschool here. I was very fortunate to have a good highschool art teacher, Mr. Howell. Everyone else hated him but he loved my style of art. AlI did my junior and senior year was take as many independent studies as possible.
So now I am at East Tennessee State Univ. I am a junior and my major is prinmaking, I am also minoring in anatomy...
