m Jahr 1980 schuf Joan Miró unter dem Titel »La Melodie Acide« eine Folge von 14 Lithographien, die ein Thema variieren. Wer genau hinschaut, sieht den Tanz der Figuren, hört Gesang, Musik - in Stein geätzt. Von Miró weiß man, dass er die Musikinstrumente der Balearen, kleine keramische Pfeifen in Form von Figurinen, sehr liebte. Fast möchte man glauben, etwas davon sei in die »Melodie Acide« hineinverwunschen worden. Es ist typisch, dass durch alle Blätter eine sich wandelnde Form den Leitton gibt. Die Auflockerung der festeren Verstrebungen geschieht durch Tupfer und Kringelknäuel. Es ist, als wäre der Künstler am Schluss nochmals mit dem Bleistift über die Drucke gefahren, so differenziert original wirkt die Drucktechnik in ihrer feinen Materienbeschaffenheit, ein eher kleines Blattformat, das eine große Ausstrahlung hat. »Acide« bezieht sich auch auf die angewandte Technik der Lithographie, denn die Säure, die sich in den Stein einätzt, schafft letztlich die Form für die Farben, bringt sie zum Klingen.
