Biography
Well Well, a contemporary artist based in France, has traversed a diverse path through various design disciplines, culminating in his current exploration of the Pop Art World. His design journey began in his South London studios, where he honed his skills across a spectrum of fields, including large projections, print design, website design, and computer animation.
In France, Well Well has immersed himself in a new artistic chapter, navigating the realm of forgotten comic book faces and hand-drawn metaphors for the modern world. His artistic toolbox includes acrylic, ink, spray paint, stencils, pencil, and collage, which he skillfully employs to craft abstract and multi-colored Pop Art. Notably, he infuses abstract backgrounds with line drawings featuring dogs, bones, and skulls, serving as metaphors for the complexities of human existence.
The scale of Well Well's art extends beyond traditional canvases, with his largest pieces incorporating found and recycled wood sourced from the renovation of a French barn. The doors and door frames, repurposed as frames and canvases, act as visual cues, inviting viewers to step into Well Well's distinctive world.
