Ballet La Bayadère - Série grands dessins format grand aigle : Dessin 5 - A labri des regard. Crayon sur papier Ingres – Dimensions : 70 cm – 100 cm. Recontextualisation des éléments chorégraphiques a des moments différents du Ballet la Bayadère. A l’extérieur ou à l’intérieur d’un palais de Maharaja, la danse quitte la scène du théâtre quelque peu et installe un moment scénique tragique dans d’autres lieux. Chaque dessin est une nouvelle histoire, une nouvelle intrigue, c’est une nouvelle annotation chorégraphique et spatiale. L’intensité dramatique de cette mise en scène est accentuée par la dichotomie ombre/lumière tandis que les éléments architecturaux créent une charge émotionnelle qui transportent le regardeur au pays de l’Inde, celui des Maharaja. Le traitement en trame de trait verticaux renvoie au textile, à la matière des tissus, splendeur des costumes de ce ballet Mythique. Amour, rêve, tragédie, Intrigue et splendeur.

There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

Throughout his career, Walid has received numerous awards and accolades for his exceptional artistic contributions. These include the Private PM DUPUY/SDFA prize, a Bronze Medal Diploma at the Metz International Fair of Fine Arts in 2023, and the Fernand BIVEL Private Prize at the Salon des Artistes Français in 2023, among others.

Walid's works have been featured in prestigious exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Some of his recent exhibitions include The Salon French Artists/Art Capital in 2024, the 65th Fine Arts Fair of Cormeilles-en-Parisis in 2023, and the International Fine Arts Fair of Metz in the same year. He has also participated in exhibitions in Japan, such as the National Art Center Tokyo Japan - Salon d'Automne France Japan in 2021.

His art has been showcased in various renowned venues, including the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées during the Art Capital exhibition in 2020, as well as in exhibitions organized by the Salon des French Artists and the Salon d'Automne in Paris.
