I tried to show the suffering but in order to create the traditional look of Christ I had to clean up the wounds. It is a problem of divinity versus suffering.
It is painted in acrylic paint and inks on stretched canvas with fully painted edges to give the painting greater depth. Consequently it can be mounted on the wall without a frame and looks great as an integral part of your decor.
