Vincent Chignier (*1988)Vincent Chignier (*1988) is a French painter and illustrator from Clermont-Ferrand who now lives in Šternberk, in the Czech Republic. As a teenager, he became interested in art when he discovered the murals in the buildings of the city where he lived. However, the path to artistic creation was more winding and led him first to study carpentry. Despite his love for cabinetmaking, he had a desire to learn about art and its different directions. He therefore chose to study graphic arts in the city of Lyon, from where he continued his studies of mural painting in Clermont-Ferrand. After several years of professional experience, Vincent feels the need for intellectual enrichment. To his great joy, he was admitted to study visual arts at the Sorbonne in Paris. In 2019, he successfully completed his studies and has since devoted himself fully to his artistic activities. His work is influenced by urban art and also by artists such as Caravaggio, Hieronymus Bosch, Henri Matisse, Basquiat and others. ;others. With this mixture of inspiration, he experiments and creates - using various techniques - original works full of sensitivity and symbolism.
