This painting of mine explores the connections between the micro-macro world.
Viktoria Nagy, a contemporary Hungarian painter, earned her degree in stage and costume design from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. Her artistic journey began with a focus on fine art painting during her first year at the academy, leaving a lasting impact on her perspective that continues to influence her work.
Viktoria's approach to design is characterized by a vibrant and experimental outlook, evident in her contributions to contemporary and classical ballet, theatrical fairy tales, and performances in experimental theatre. With a background in stage and costume design, she has created visually compelling and imaginative designs that enhance the storytelling aspect of various artistic productions.
While Viktoria has been painting for the last decade, she only recently started presenting her paintings. Despite her late introduction to public display, her work showcases a rich and evolving artistic expression. Beyond painting, she has established herself as a versatile artist, frequently contributing to the film and television industry by designing sets and costumes for feature films and television shows.
In addition to her creative endeavors, Viktoria Nagy has shared her knowledge and expertise by teaching theatre and film set and costume design at various universities across Europe for the past few years. Her multifaceted career reflects a dedication to both artistic creation and the education of aspiring artists, making her a dynamic and influential presence in the world of visual arts and design.
