Leonard Vicari is a painter, actor and video maker. Born in Paris on May 24
1993, he moved to impressionist lands at the age of 3, in Rouen, where he grew up in
an open framework and education, influenced by art and work, raised by
restaurant parents.

All the summers of his youth he spent in Sicily,
with his paternal family, who also lull him with their stories. A rear
grandfather general of the army, uncles painters, writers, a grandmother
woman of the world, poet…

All this influences it naturally and from the most
At a young age he grabs the pencils and won't let go, he knows full well that
his life will be made of pictorial art. He had a vision of it. At a very young age he learned to
draw by reproducing his hand, then the drawings of his comics, he discovers the
painters, the great Masters.

By entering the National School of Architecture of Normandy, he discovered the different
movements that have marked the history of art. He also learned graffiti
thanks to his cousin Romain Vicari, Italian-Brazilian visual artist and begins
to paint the walls of the city, in the carefreeness and joys of youth. He
then begins his first paintings and discovers a theme
personal, which will accompany him until today': dreamlike. Dreams
very quickly became his main source of inspiration.

The dream like
experience, the dream as sensation, the dream as light of reality. After
having moved to Montpellier, then to Belgium, he now lives in Paris and
Menton, where he works and experiments with his graphic art, always borrowing from a
dialogue between the dream world and the real world.
