Le sujet de la maltraitance animale me tient à cœur mais celui d’une paysannerie en évolution aussi. Trouver le moyen à nouveau de vivre sa nature pleinement dans un environnement respecté me tient à cœur. Ici la fermière est jeune et moderne, loin des clichés d'une agriculture vieillissante. La vache, proche de son éleveuse, regarde au loin le changement à venir ou le départ du veau incompris. Ce dessin s’articule comme une fable graphique où chacun peut imaginer son histoire. C'est une ode au changement, à la vie et au respect de toutes les formes du vivant.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It's a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.

Technic Drawing

Drawing is a technique of visual representation on a flat support. The term "drawing" designates both the action of drawing, the resulting graphic work, and the shape of any object. It is also a representation on a surface of the shape (and possibly the light and shadow values) of an object or figure, rather than their color. There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

A student at the National School of Decorative Arts in Limoges, Vérogoude obtained her DNSEP in 2002. Her internship in NYC with Nancy Spero and Léon Golub developed her taste for expressionism, narrative and committed painting. Filled with all the possible museums and galleries, strong from these trips and meetings, Vérogoude devoted himself to teaching for 15 years in order to popularize the history of art and make contemporary creation accessible to young people. In 2022, she hangs up her teaching apron and returns to her favorite track: creation. Today Vérogoude works as an artist full-time. Painter, designer, poet, her artistic practice sanctifies animal, plant and mineral environments. Vérogoude plays with metaphors and fables to believe in a possible paradise on Earth. His graphic writing combines symbols such as the crown of flowers, stone, animals, the female silhouette. These signs make the link between a dreamed landscape and everyday life, describing a dream where nature and society would be allied. Very intuitive, the artist develops work that is above all accessible to all because for her, art is a fight for today that allows for a better future.
