Vera Almeida is a contemporary graphic designer, artist, and printmaker based in Lisbon. Her work is deeply inspired by nature, leading her to explore various shapes, dynamics, and meanings within the natural world. Fascinated by this environment, Almeida focuses on natural history illustration, utilizing traditional media such as graphite, colored pencils, pen-and-ink, watercolor, and acrylics to bring her visions to life.
Currently, Almeida is delving into the potentialities and challenges of printmaking, particularly in intaglio processes, including etching, aquatint, and drypoint.
