Данная работа была создана мной в январе 2022 года. Итог долгих поисков для сюжетной композиции на постапокалиптическую тематику.

Похожая на концепт-арт для компьютерной игры или брутальный комикс, данная иллюстрация философски отображает общее гнетущее напряжение в моих последних работах, многократно усилившееся после личной трагедии 2019 года. В моих работах 20-х годов, часто повторяющийся мрачный городской пейзаж конца света, войн и революций приобретает больше реалистичных, узнаваемых деталей: район Москва-сити, банка советской "сгущенки", панки в лохмотьях и снаряжении. Здесь конфликт разбирается не как состояние, но как ситуация. В работе WARSAW PACT 2019 (Ценз. название: "Война миров", выставка "Учителя и ученики" в КЦ "Москвич" 2019 г.) была попытка окончательно оформить все разрозненные детали из предыдущих поисков в единую систему художественной вселенной. Эта же работа выглядит идейным продолжением предыдущей, развитием тем размышлений последних лет: мифологизированная классика, антиутопия и постапокалипсис, в сочетании с характерными "опасными" деталями: оружием, наркотиками, химикатами, пожарами и т.д.
В данной работе я поставил перед собой задачу совместить: современность, личную философскую рефлексию, детали сновидений, поддержать мифологический (в целом, сюжетный) базис, яркий эмоциональный заряд. Именно сгущенка помогла сделать это - она связала всю историю. Я долго решал эту задачу: у меня ушло практически 12 часов чистой работы и пара дней подготовительных работ с материалом: гравюрами европейских мастеров 16 века, фотографиями и архитектуры совмода тогда и сейчас, постапокалиптической тематикой в работах современных графиков.
