The theme of mobile and the need for lightness is at the origin of Vanessa Renoux's original sculptures.
Vanessa creates mixed media sculptures, combining steel rods and pasted and compressed paper. The skin of the paper covering the sculpture allows effects of material and texture, the painted and patinated surface thus takes on the appearance of bronze.
This mixed technique leads to freedom: of movement, of seating, of mixing materials (wood, metal, concrete).
His contemporary sculptures are refined into slender and refined forms, inspired by Etruscan and Greek statuary and 20th century sculptors. The line, the dance and the movement - oscillation, pendulum - are omnipresent.
The golfer is on a thin rod which allows a slight oscillation of the sculpture, in an action movement.
