Eco-sculpture : Réalisée en papier recyclé (journal, magasines, livres), encollé et compressé sur structure de métal (3 tiges acier), sur bois de récupération peint en noir. Solide et résistante. La peau du papier est travaillée pour donner de la texture, des plissés, révélés par la patine. Une patine aux teintes profondes dans les tons bleu turquoise et bronze, avec ajout d'un vernis brillant.
Cette sculpture de chat est créé en papier-bronze, à l'aide de matériaux de récupération, upcycling, sur-cyclage :
Le papier journal recyclé est encollé sur des tiges de métal de récupération, compressé et séché. Les volumes de la sculpture acquièrent dureté et solidité. La patine réalisée ensuite lui confère son aspect métallique, sa couleur changeante aux reflets de bronze. Sculptures en trompe-l'oeil !
La patine est ici bleu turquoise et bronze sur fond noir.
Le thème du mobile et le besoin de légèreté est à l’origine des créations de papier recyclé de Vanessa Renoux. En effet, le "papier-bronze" conduit à la liberté : de mouvement, d'assises, de mélange des matières (bois, métal, béton). Les sculptures s'affinent en formes longilignes ou épurées, inspirées de la statuaire étrusque, grec et des sculpteurs du XXème siècle.
Ce chat famélique, allongé et filiforme, a une posture en descente. Il est intéressant dans toutes les directions (profil, face, dos).

Vanessa Renoux also paints the landscapes that surround her (Annecy, its lake, the countryside) and the cities she visits. Recently, her work inspired by Japanese Prints has been very successful.
