I started my active life in the architecture field by maintaining a regular artistic practice. Specializing in artistic perspectives, in this first part of my active life, I made my first exhibitions and realized some theater sets. Not having attended an art school, my meeting with the internationally renowned painter Jean-Marie Poumeyrol was an important moment in my evolution. My regular interviews with this figurative painter and my resumption of university studies in parallel to my livelihood, have opened the way to the posture of artist-plastician. I nevertheless opted for teaching in order to preserve the freedom that befits my temperament as a researcher. If my production was not as intense, my experience was no less rich. Especially by having been able to live in Overseas a few years to discover new facets of the world.

Approach. My favorite themes are the marine, usually focused on the world of fishing, colorful and graphic details. The human body and especially the portrait are privileged. But in general it is the still life that is predominant and I refer to as generic genre of my entire production because my subjects come mostly from my shots taken at the pleasure of my wanderings. The model image thus poses the question of the offset of the prototype. To represent a representation is first to take an object as a model. My first approach is based on the abyme, which stems from a reflection on the role of the image in the perception of reality. Fixed or animated images, we perceive a large part of the real through its representation. By this analytical figuration, I wanted to highlight the subjective aspect of the reframe (any subject is an arbitrary choice that isolates an object from its context) and the manufacturing process that reveals the Man (the composition plays various stages of realization generally confused). I went towards the idea of fragment by focusing on the line. Graphic artist by sensitivity, the taste for drawing later generated works inspired by abstract flows to the Pollock, then a production inscribed in a historical cultural tradition: the stained glass. Also backed by the fragment, I invested the codes of consumption (bar codes and QR codes), as testimonies of the present time. The idea of pixelation from contemporary computer images is imposed. Through the graphic journey around narrative images, I come to question and produce works that deal with the relationship between representations and language that gives them meaning. The symbol is at the gates of my current production, continuing the enrichment of the relationship between Nature and Culture.
