It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

" J'ai toujours laissé le champ libre à ma sensibilité artistique ", explique l’artiste. "Jamais je n'ai cherché à la canaliser, à l'orienter. Presque toujours, c'est la couleur qui guide mon geste et décide de l'œuvre finale". Pour Valérie HELM, l'initiation à la peinture fut une révélation, un déclic qui changea son existence alors qu'elle pensait simplement combler son amour de l'art en le partageant avec ses enfants.
Après avoir intégré plusieurs ateliers et s'être essayée à différentes techniques, l'artiste se découvre une véritable passion pour la peinture à l'huile. "J'aime particulièrement cette matière onctueuse qui me permet d’exprimer mon ressenti. J’aime jouer avec les coulures, les transparences et surtout avec une palette de couleurs qui correspond à l’humeur du moment", confie la peintre. Quiconque regarde les œuvres de Valérie Helm est immédiatement interpellé par le travail de l'artiste sur la couleur. "Si mon style peut changer d'une toile à l'autre, la couleur occupe toujours une place centrale. Elle constitue le point de départ de la plupart de mes peintures", poursuit-elle. C'est ainsi que la peintre décline certaines de ses collections autour d'une seule et unique couleur ou, à l'inverse, mélange et marie les nuances pour créer des toiles particulièrement graphiques.
