Valérie Coeur, French artist was born in Limoges.

The signature of her works "Cœur" always accompanied by a little heart is her birth name, hence her poetic and sensitive side which is reflected on some of her paintings. She thanks her father for this lovely inheritance.

Self-taught, Valérie Cœur has always loved drawing since her childhood and never had her colored pencils far away to learn on her own how to construct the lines of her drawings. She then became passionate about creating Disney characters, particularly those from 'Picsou', and then moved on to portraits.

This passion buried by her life as a mother, more important to her, suddenly resurfaced in 2018 when she was forced to overcome a difficult ordeal in her life.

From then on, her child's soul, never far away, reappeared and here she went again in her passion for drawing which then became to this day, her best therapy a little more each day. She made several drawings, then 'scribbles'.

It was in 2021 with the birth of her grandson that she changed her path and began to painting especially children.

She says: "Only children have this power not to cheat with their feelings.

Valérie Cœur likes to transcribe the emotions of accompanied children often of their irreplaceable cuddly toy.

And from that moment on, she mixes with her 'doodles', the tenderness, innocence, joy and even sadness of children by bringing pop color adapted to their current sensitivity.

However, she always likes to get lost in scribbling portraits of adults and even animals, always adding a few touches of color either in the depth of the eyes, or around the face.
