"Vein & Vessel" is a diptych exploring the visual echo between human skin and mass-produced plastic. The upper half reveals the delicate softness of a neck in dappled light; the lower half confronts us with a stack of synthetic forms. Together, they evoke the silent tension between vulnerability and repetition, body and object, the organic and the mechanical.

I live among the flower production on the farm and watch plastic and mass production quietly penetrate our identity.

There's no more criticism here - just a statement of the presence of the most unsightly shrouds of human activity, and maybe the very essence of it, stuffed away into a corner.

But for me, these fragments are not weaknesses, but opportunities to become whole. I take them out of the far corners and light them up as a full part of myself.

Integrity is not achieved by cutting off a part of one's being, but by integrating opposites.

I am a visual artist from Brazil. I work with photography, scanography and physical art.

I strive to project this diachrony of illusion and reality onto a familiar, empathically close image of a person.

We live a joint historical experience, an experience of sharing the sensory. I paint portraits of the Other, likening them to still frames, which at first glance may seem meaningless, empty. But in fact, each such still frame is a part, a link in a modern history familiar to everyone and lived by everyone.
