Uma Makala

Painting for me is a constant exploration and a form of expression. I started my work portraying woman in liberation, longing for expansion. I always like to pour my emotions and spiritual connection with nature and people on canvas.  Though most of my paintings are on mythological characters,I like to portray the harmony and serenity in them. Be it Radha krishna or shiva shakthi , I cherish the oneness and blissfulness between them . 

I have participated in many group shows in Hyderabad, Vizag, Banglore, Pune, Bhopal, Indore and a few more places . I have also done two solo shows in Hyderabad.
