Spanish painter and sculptor, Ulpiano Carrasco was born in Villanueva de la Jara (Cuenca) in 1961, he would begin his artistic career in his city at a young age of only six years; and since then, his interest in this world has not stopped.
He works in Europe, Asia and the United States. Today, his exhibitions continue in countries such as France, England, Belgium, the United States (New York, Miami), Singapore, China (Hong Kong), South Korea (Seoul), Monaco, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Switzerland (Geneva) and, of course, Spain.
It is characterized by bursts of pasty colors, purely mixed and giving rise to landscapes, figurations and still lifes incredibly contrasted. In fact, his technique could recall impressionism, since he works with stains; but the pasture he uses for his works even simulates high reliefs on canvas.
