Even in the superficial activity of nature, we see an effort to fill a void; in the perception of space, the void itself takes on a composition with the priority of uncertainty and the repressed emotions coming to the fore. While the reduction of emptiness to space maintains its strange and chilling effect, a traumatic formation is experienced in the state of similarity that occurs in this ambiguity, and the space absorbs the emptiness it is in, depicting a dilemma of a state of existence on the body. This display of dominance is an idealized fear of emptiness.

Ugur Omer Pekince, born in Ankara in 1993, is a contemporary Turkish artist whose work explores the intersection of the self, daily life, and imaginative expression. His art production is shaped by self-referential and affective critiques of everyday experiences, often using the body as both material and a tool for individual expression. Pekince’s work reflects a deep engagement with anthropomorphism, where art becomes a manifestation of impulse and a convergence of nature and daily life.
His creative process is intuitive and deeply informed by his knowledge of art history. The materials he uses often reveal the fluidity and complexity of his ideas, adapting to the evolving nature of his concepts. In his recent works, Pekince has shifted toward spatial storytelling, constructing forms that extend across space to narrate his artistic vision.
