Patrick Vincent, aka Willy, is a French photographer whose artistic approach is based on capturing fleeting moments of life, marked by pure and authentic emotion. For him, each photograph is a unique opportunity to freeze a moment that will never happen again, with the hope that the shot, when read, reveals a depth of meaning and emotional intensity.
A fervent defender of "organic" photography, without retouching or digital manipulation, Patrick Vincent refuses the use of Photoshop. He believes that the image must exist by itself, without requiring any commentary from the author, thus becoming an autonomous visual language. Quite talkative by nature, he adopts the motto: "If you have nothing to say, photograph it."
The exchange with visitors to his exhibitions is precious to him, because he discovers, through their eyes, dimensions of his photographs that he had not perceived. His photographs, simple and direct, reflect this sincere approach to life, where each reflection, each soap bubble, is captured as is, without artifice, thus revealing the beauty of the present moment.
