De formation scientifique, elle a mis fin a sa carrière dans l'industrie pharmaceutique pour se consacrer à l'Art et la Décoration.
A partir de 2008, elle se spécialise dans les enduits anciens à la chaux et au Tadelakt de Marrakech.avec des artisans d'art italiens et marocains,
Elle combine sa maîtrise des stucs et de la matière dans ses créations artistiques et le design. "Je voulais utiliser le rendu et la texture de cette merveilleuse matière qu'est la chaux, dans mes créations artistiques".
Les chevaux et la spiriritualité sont les grands thèmes qu'aborde l'oeuvre de Christelle Vercoutère.
Les Chevaux mythiques possèdent le pouvoir de se rendre dans l'autre monde. En tant qu'intermédiaire entre les dieux et les hommes, le cheval est chargé de porter des messages et se voit confier le rôle d'oracle.
Les symboles sont omniprésents comme pour signifier l'alliance entre l'humain et le divin.
