Artiste peintre québécoise autodidacte née à Montréal, je propose une œuvre picturale figurative vive et colorée sur grand format.
Pendant de nombreuses années je voulais que les gens aiment mes tableaux. Aujourd'hui, je veux aimer ce que je produis et si les gens aiment aussi je suis heureuse, évidemment, mais ce n'est plus le but recherché. Maintenant, je ne veux plus me limiter et je ne peins que les sujets que j'aime et que j'ai envie de peindre. Travaillant presque exclusivement à l'huile j'ai modifié ma technique au fil des ans en ajoutant l'utilisation des couteaux aux pinceaux et ça m'apporte une grande satisfaction.
Quand je peins, je ne réfléchis pas, je ne pense pas, je ne cherche à livrer aucun message. Je peins dans une bulle instinctive. Mes tableaux sont forts de contrastes. Ombres profondes et lumières intenses, courbes et angles… force et légèreté… Je peins comme d'autres composent une musique pour que ceux qui regardent la tableau achevé ressentent une émotion forte et profonde. Et, j'ai souvent des surprises avec certains qui, une fois terminés, ne me satisfont pas vraiment mais qui suscitent de nombreuses réactions positives, et c'est là que je me dis "Mais qu'est-ce qu'ils peuvent bien voir que je ne vois pas"
