Wei MAZZOLINI , origine chinoise, née en 1974. Elle a commencé à dessiner dés l’âge de 16 ans, dans une école de stylisme en Chine, où elle a appris les exercices de bases en arts plastique: esquisses, gouache, peinture chinoise……
Après quelques années d’études et de travail en stylisme, elle a changée de domaine pour la communication visuelle, ensuite elle a fait des études en conception d’arts à l’institut central des beaux-arts de Pékin, ou elle a obtenue un diplôme. Ces expériences l' ont davantage ouverte au monde artistique. Elle a étudié différents domaines : graphisme, architecture, design commercial… et adoptée différentes matières et techniques. Pendant les exercices en arts plastique, elle s'est beaucoup intéressée à Vincent van Gogh, ainsi qu'aux expressionnistes, et impressionnistes.
Depuis 2003 elle vie en France. Ce beau pays lui a donné une grosse envie de persévérer et de s'affirmer dans la peinture et le dessin. Les paysages merveilleux, les couleurs exceptionnelles de la nature, sont des sources de motivation. Elle pense avoir compris les sentiments de Van Gogh à son arrivée en France.
Elle est toujours très attachée à l'expressionnisme et l'impressionnisme. Elle s'intéresse aux techniques anciennes et modernes. Quel que soit les techniques qu'elle choisie pour une œuvre, elle exprime sincèrement et avec le plus de pureté possible ce qu' elle ressent.
Wei MAZZOLINI dessine ou peint suivant ses motivations: paysages, natures mortes, portraits, animaux, nus…
