Irina CONDE est une artiste guinéenne d’origine russe. Mariée à un Guinéen, elle vit en Guinée depuis plus de 30 ans où elle est arrivée après avoir obtenu son diplôme à l'Institut Supérieur de Cinéma de Moscou, section Dessins animés. Faute de financement de projets cinématographiques, elle se tourne vers la peinture et s’adapte à son nouvel environnement, à telle enseigne qu’elle devient une « véritable artiste guinéenne ». C’est ainsi qu’elle se met à peindre des scènes de la vie quotidienne et des personnages de son pays d’adoption, notamment les femmes guinéennes qu’elle trouve très belles et élégantes. Irina s’exprime dans différents styles artistiques, depuis le réel jusqu’à l’abstrait en passant par le figuratif et le conceptuel. Elle compte parmi les principaux artistes de Guinée et dirige l'Association des Artistes Plasticiens de Guinée. Elle est également professeur d'art plastique à l’Institut Supérieur des Arts de Guinée (ISAG). Irina expose ses œuvres aussi bien en Guinée qu'à l'étranger. Elle est l’un des principaux collaborateurs de la Galerie Sunjata Créations.
