Aussitôt après avoir pris ma retraite en 2004, j’ai découvert une nouvelle liberté – bien loin d’une quelconque occupation juste pour consommer du temps ou replonger dans un nouveau job rémunéré exigeant et très souvent stressant. C’est une nouvelle rencontre avec l’artiste que je suis, être en mesure de donner le meilleur de moi-même sans que les mots performance ou rentabilité soient maîtres de mes décisions.
J’ai depuis élu domicile à MIRLEFT une petite localité de pêcheurs berbères au sud ouest marocain sur la cote atlantique qui se distingue par son microclimat, ses paysages montagneux, ses centaines de kilomètres de plages vierges, sables, rochers et la qualité de ses eaux bleues qui offrent aux amateurs de ses contrées des moments de détente inoubliables et bien, c’est bien ici que j’ai trouvé l’inspiration pour la couleur, la matière que j'utilise dans mes œuvres.
Les de leçons de dessins apprises au collège ont ravivées ce besoin de peindre. Ainsi, Je me suis lancé dans la peinture . Et, de fil en aiguille, entrainé par ma passion, je me suis trouvé bien engagé et compte maintenant une d'années d'expérience.
