Tomasz Tobolewski was born in 1973, in Poland, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Graphics Department in Katowice), with a diploma from the Gravure Printing Studio, under the guidance of Prof. S. Noodles.
He is the winner of several awards and distinctions in Polish and international competitions, including: Grand Prix at the Dry Point Graphic Biennale in Serbia (2011), Grand Prix, "Work of the Year" competition of ZPAP (Katowice, 2004), Award, "Work of the Year" competition of ZPAP (Katowice, 2003) 1st prize, International Drawing Biennale (Pilzno, 2004). Award of the President of the City of Wrocław, 3rd International Drawing Competition. (Wrocław, 2006), Award funded by the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, 9th Triennial of Polish Graphic Arts (Katowice 2015), Nomination for the 10th Triennial of Polish Contemporary Drawing (Lubaczów 2020), Distinction, 10th International Autumn Art Salon "Homo Quadratus Ostroviensis", (2010 BWA, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski).
Tomasz Tobolewski participated in many exhibitions, among others: POSK Gallary solo exhibition (London, 2018), Triennial of Polish Graphic Arts, BWA Katowice (2015), Salon de L'estampe Contemporaine - Ruel-Malmaison, (France 2006), Winners of the Daniel Chodowiecki Award, Academy of Fine Arts, (Berlin, 2009), International Print Biennale (Guanlan, China 2 009), International Drawing Biennale (Skopje, Macedonia, 2012), drawing exhibition "First Language" (BWA, Bielsko Biała, 2003), exhibition of young employees of the Art Institute (Cieszyn, 2003), Work of the Year competition of ZPAP (Katowice, 2003 and 2004), Miniature Graphics Biennale (Częstochowa, 2004), International Drawing Biennale (Pil sno, Czech Republic 2004), Drawing Competition Andorli (Nałęczów, 2004), Internationale Mini Print (Sarajewo, 2005).
