Tomasz Tobolewski was born in 1973, in Poland, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Graphics Department in Katowice), with a diploma from the Gravure Printing Studio, under the guidance [...]

He is the winner of several awards and distinctions in Polish and international competitions, including: Grand Prix at the Dry Point Graphic Biennale in Serbia (2011), Grand Prix, "Work of the Year" competition of ZPAP (Katowice, 2004), Award, "Work of the Year" competition of ZPAP (Katowice, 2003) 1st prize, International Drawing Biennale (Pilzno, 2004). Award of the President of the City of Wrocław, 3rd International Drawing Competition. (Wrocław, 2006), Award funded by the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, 9th Triennial of Polish Graphic Arts (Katowice 2015), Nomination for the 10th Triennial of Polish Contemporary Drawing (Lubaczów 2020), Distinction, 10th International Autumn Art Salon "Homo Quadratus Ostroviensis", (2010 BWA, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski).
