Angels & Demons By TOMAAS
The Galerie d’Appolon within the Louvre, famous for it’s high vaulted ceilings with painted decorations has been the inspiration to create the series „Angels & Demons“. The idea was to harness digital technology in the search for the sublime, creating ethereal, romantic and emotive images by mixing layers of the ceiling with the model.
The result is a surreal artwork with a painterly quality.

Large edition of 5 plus 1AP, size 150 cm x 100 cm. Please also enquire for other size editions. TOMAAS artwork is available in limited edition. All prints are Museum-quality Giclée on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl paper, the most premium quality fine art paper that delivers the most accurate and vibrant colors in print. Printed with 2cm white border.
Printing will be done by a top printing atelier which has extensive experience dealing with art galleries, museums, art collectors and art exhibitions to make sure the art prints are of the highest gallery/museum quality. Each print will be checked and proofed,

TOMAAS, né à Hambourg en Allemagne, est un artiste visuel reconnu pour son travail photographique surréaliste et émotionnel. Après avoir vécu 18 ans à New York, il a établi son atelier à Montmartre, Paris, en 2014. Ses œuvres, souvent dramatiques et éthérées, sont marquées par une qualité picturale vibrante et une manipulation photographique sophistiquée.
Inspiré par des maîtres du surréalisme et du romantisme tels que Salvador Dalí, Giorgio De Chirico et Eugène Delacroix, TOMAAS crée des images emblématiques qui défient les normes traditionnelles de beauté. Son travail fusionne les techniques photographiques avec l'art visuel, proposant une vision alternative de la société contemporaine.
Son œuvre a été largement publiée dans des revues internationales comme Vogue Italia, W Magazine et Marie Claire. Il a également exposé dans plusieurs galeries à New York et participé à des expositions prestigieuses, notamment une exposition collective au Royal Monceau à Paris avec David LaChapelle et Liu Bolin en 2017. La même année, il a été invité à la Biennale de Venise.
TOMAAS est représenté par Art Photo Expo à Paris et Saatchi Art Gallery à Los Angeles. Ses projets commerciaux sont soutenus par Robert Bacall Representatives à New York et Nitrox Photographers Management à Milan.
