À travers cette œuvre, je fusionne l’histoire et la symbolique pour créer un message puissant. Réalisée avec des éclats authentiques de la Première Guerre mondiale, cette pièce transforme des vestiges du passé en une vision d’espoir et de renouveau.
Au cœur de la composition, un hippocampe et sa compagne s’enlacent, ondulant autour d’une algue aquatique. Ces créatures, connues pour leur fidélité et leur danse gracieuse, deviennent ici le symbole intemporel de l’amour, de la paix et de la liberté. Là où les fragments de guerre racontent la destruction, la nature et la tendresse viennent réécrire l’histoire en un hymne à la vie.
Cette œuvre est un dialogue entre mémoire et avenir, entre ce qui fut et ce que nous choisissons d’en faire. Elle invite à une réflexion profonde : comment transformer les cicatrices du passé en un message de beauté et d’harmonie ?
Ancien militaire de carrière et passionné par l’histoire, je me suis reconverti dans l’art avec une démarche profondément empreinte de sens et d’émotion. À travers mes œuvres, je fusionne mon expérience du terrain et sa fascination pour les artefacts historiques, transformant des éclats d’obus de la Première Guerre mondiale en sculptures évocatrices de paix.
Chaque création est un témoignage : des fragments de violence passés renaissent sous forme d’animaux – poissons, oiseaux ou autres figures symboliques – incarnant l’espoir, la résilience et l’harmonie retrouvée. Cette approche unique fait dialoguer mémoire et réconciliation, offrant un regard neuf sur les traces laissées par l’histoire.
Installé dans les Pyrénées-Orientales , J'expose mes œuvres pour rappeler que, même dans les vestiges les plus sombres, une lumière peut surgir pour célébrer la paix et la beauté de la vie.
