Татьяна Седова родилась в 1971 в городе Минске, БССР.
Увлеклась фотографией, проживая в Бельгии, в 2014 году.
Начала обучение на курсах коммерческой фотографии и продолжила в художественной академии города Антверпена, которую закончила в 2018. Тема дипломной работы «Суета», на которой были представлены портреты и натюрморты.
Спустя 3 года закончила курс специализация, на котором усовершенствовала фотографические навыки и увлеклась пленочной фотографией. Тема дипломной работы «Одиночество», на которой были представлены диптихи: портрет + пейзаж, портрет + натюрморт. Портреты были сделаны цифровым фотоаппаратом, пейзажи и натюрморты – пленочным и полароидом.
В январе 2019 года приняла участие в мастер-классе по коллодийному процессу под руководством Ханса де Корт.
Сейчас Татьяна продолжает обучение в художественной академии на курсе cross over и продолжает экспериментировать с изображениями, снятыми на различные пленочные фотоаппараты, изготовленные в 1929 – 1997 г.г.
Татьяна самостоятельно проявляет пленку и печатает фотографии. Кроме того для распечатывания некоторых фотографий она самостоятельно готовит поверхность бумаги или текстиля, на которой распечатываются фотографии.
В своем творчестве Татьяна также использует технику циаонотипия.
Татьяна не отстает и от современных технологий – ей нравится использовать проектор для творческих съёмок в студии.
Фотографы и художники, которые повлияли на творчество Татьяны Седовой: Джулия Камерон (1815 – 1879), Плат Лайнс (1907 – 1955), Ричард Аведон (1923 – 2004), Ив Кляйн (1928 – 1962), Герхард Рихтер (1932), Джоэл-Питер Уиткин (1939), Роджер Баллен (1950).
В работах Татьяны Седовой чувствуется задумчивость, печаль, поэтика.
«Я бы хотела, чтобы, глядя на мои работы, люди выскочили из оков современной суетной спешки, оглянулись вокруг и осознали, что жизнь быстротечна и всего не ухватишь. Главное, уметь наслаждаться данным моментом, который уже никогда не вернется; поразмыслили над своим образом жизни, куда и зачем они двужутся, вспомнили о своих давно забытых мечтах.»
