The Collection of 20 of 38 mm each Abstract Miniatures

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of dusk with "Defragmentation of an Evening Landscape," a sophisticated art object that captures the fleeting magic of twilight in a series of abstract impressions.

This evocative piece features 20 individual cardboard squares, each carefully mounted on a single sheet of paper. Every square is a miniature abstract composition, painted on a soft grey-beige background and brought to life with deep burgundy, lush green, crisp white, and subtle touches of purple and yellow. Bold black strokes add dramatic contrast, evoking the mysterious allure of the evening.

Executed in acrylic on cardboard, "Defragmentation of an Evening Landscape" invites viewers to explore the interplay of color, texture, and mood. Each fragment offers a glimpse into the shifting atmosphere of dusk, while together they form a harmonious whole—a poetic reflection on the transition from day to night.

Let "Defragmentation of an Evening Landscape" bring a sense of calm and contemplation to your space, with its refined palette and expressive abstraction — a tribute to the quiet wonder of evening, captured in 20 mesmerizing moments.

The artwork is unframed.

My name is Tanya Plyashkevich, and I'm an artist. I started as a self-taught artist, but later pursued formal art education at university, studying academic painting and drawing.

My artistic journey has been full of experimentation and exploration. I've tried my hand at various genres: starting with abstract Suprematism, followed by watercolor, oil painting, and later diving into digital art and even venturing into the world of NFTs. (My abstract NFTs, by the way, were sold... to my mom. But hey, it's all about the experience! :) However, no matter how far my experiments take me, I always return to my greatest passion: abstract painting.

Since 2014, I've produced hundreds of artworks, and I actively sell them online through my website, as well as offline at contemporary art exhibitions. Creating and selling paintings is my main and sole occupation. For me, abstraction is not just a way to express myself; it's an entire philosophy. In my work, I strive to convey something more than just a pretty picture. I want to make the viewer think about eternal questions, to feel the depth and multifaceted nature of the world around them, to touch their own soul.

What makes my art unique? Probably my abstract miniatures, a genre I invented. They always attract attention and enjoy consistent success at exhibitions. My art has also been showcased in the journal of the Union of Artists of Russia. Abstract miniatures are small squares with abstract images glued to a sheet. For me, they are not just a design element, but also a profound philosophical symbol, offering reflections on diversity, interconnectedness, freedom, and individuality. They contain wisdom that can inspire us to search for meaning in our complex but beautiful world. And if not, at least they provide a great excuse to argue about whether cardboard squares can be considered art. :)

I'm happy that my work resonates with people, and it inspires me to continue creating.
