Né à la fin des années 70 dans le sud de l’île de france, Sylvain Bousseton dit SEEL, découvre les arts graphiques au travers de la pratique du skateboard. En 1996 il débute son activité picturale au travers du graffiti. Dès la fin de ses études d’art et de communication visuelle, SEEL exerce en freelance son activité graphique. Parallèlement à son activité professionnelle, il organise et participe à plusieurs expositions, d’abord basées sur le graffiti puis sur le graphisme et la peinture. Il délaisse ensuite les expos pour se concentrer sur le dessin et le collage. Depuis plusieurs années et par souci d’indépendance, SEEL a progressivement monté son atelier de sérigraphie, outil qui lui permet de reproduire ses dessins en séries limitées. Son logo nommé « Memo » pour Memento Mori reprend l’idée des Vanités dans l’art. Seel aborde différentes thématiques souvent centrées autour de la nature, la mort, les mythes… Voulant « donner vie » à ses dessins, Seel a désormais élargi son champs d’action en se concentrant sur la sculpture.
