The photo series is entitled Sacred Balance and was developed during the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021. It explores human nature that manifested during the Covid-19 pandemic. It comprises four self-portraits that navigate different dangerous human behaviors threatening nature preservation and humans' own existence.

The photo series "Duality" illustrates the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba (Spain), a monument that embraces the harmonious coexistence of two, apparently opposite, religions and cultures. The artist developed this series during an impromptu two-day trip to Cordoba in the summer of 2022. It comprises three pictures that capture how natural light penetrates the building, making the dark prayer hall, also known as the "forest of columns", conscious of the outside world.

Biography
Since 2020, Susana Orta has established herself as a self-taught photographer, drawing on a rich background in architecture.
She turned to digital photography as a privileged means of combining reality and the imaginary.
His photographs offer an aesthetic perception of the human body, and sometimes, of urban or rural landscapes. His work, as a whole, manifests a deep observation of humanity, by looking at societal issues such as the protection of biodiversity and gender disparities.
She explores the human body through her self-portraits, where she exposes her own body to natural light. She devotes a large part of her creative process to breaking down her appearance into geometric elements, illuminated or in shadow, to propose a new vision of the female body.
Simplicity is a notable characteristic of his photographs. It avoids any superfluous complication in order to convey a precise message. This is why the majority of his works are in black and white, only integrating color when it is intrinsic to the concept.
