Issu d'une famille modeste et dont l'art était totalement absent, Stéphane Circé a tout de même toujours été sensible à cette forme d'expression. Déjà tout jeune il a été touché par les œuvres qu'il a croisé. Que ce soit la peinture, la sculpture ou la poésie. Après avoir pris le chemin d'un travail plutôt conventionnel tel l'électronique et la menuiserie, il ressentit un manque et eut la conviction de passe à côté de quelque chose. Ayant quand même toujours eu un regard artistique sur tout ce qu' il touchait ou entreprenait, un virage important s'est alors effectué. D'abord il écrit pour évacuer ce besoin de création qui lui est viviscéral, pour ensuite commencer la peinture et finalement trouvé un réconfort parrallèle dans la sculpture. Il exerce ces arts depuis déjà une dizaine d'années de façon autodidacte au début et perfectionne son art à force de formations. Il a depuis participé à plusieurs expositions en galerie et dans les festivals d'art. Nouvellement élu à la presidence du Conseil d'administration de La route des arts. La sculpture et la peintures sont aujourd'hui pour lui les disciplines qui occupent la place la plus importante dans sa vie.
