Stéphane Catalano's artistic approach

I create works where light becomes matter, and matter becomes vibration. 

My paintings, created with high-vibrational 24-carat gold leaf, seek to elevate the energy of a place and generate positive, sensitive atmospheres conducive to opening the heart.

My artistic research is rooted in a vision of the world where everything is movement, interconnection and duality. Between love and fear, light and darkness, unity and separation, I explore contrasts in order to bring them together. 

My works are bridges: between the visible and the invisible, the spiritual and the concrete, the intimate and the universal.

Light is at the heart of my work. It reveals, transfigures and magnifies. It touches space, objects and beings. 

For me, it's a gateway to the beautiful, the true, the essential. 

That's why my creations react to ambient light, metamorphosing according to the time of day, the season and the angle of view, as if they were alive.

I alternate between different registers: portraits of personalities who inspire me, bearing or not intimate and universal texts, sacred geometric forms, often constructed according to the golden ratio, symbols of timeless harmony, abstract or symbolic figures, born of intuition, emotion or deeper resonance.

Between tradition and innovation, each work is conceived as an energy field, a benevolent presence in the living space, capable of awakening consciousness, inviting introspection, and creating a subtle link between art and life.
