Stephan Serais is a contemporary French painter whose artistic journey began in 2003, spurred by the encouragement of his wife, Peggy. Completely self-taught, Serais initially delved into figurative and impressionist painting, honing his craft through dedication and passion.
Throughout his career, Serais has garnered recognition for his artistic achievements, receiving various prizes and medals for his exceptional talent. Notable accolades include the Arts Sciences Lettres silver medal in 2007 and the vermeil medal in 2012. He has also been honored with the medal of honor from the city of Paris in 2008 and the medal from the city of Argentan in 2011.
Serais's artistic prowess extends beyond accolades, as he has secured top placements in prestigious painting competitions. He clinched first place in the outdoor painters competition of Putanges in 2012 and achieved second place in the painters competition of Lassay les Chateaux in both 2013 and 2014. Notably, he emerged victorious in the oil category of the Bagnoles de l'Orne competition in 2019 and again in 2022.
