Stephan Geisler, born in 1968, is a German artist who lives and works as a freelance artist in Bochum. He studied visual communication at the Münster University of Applied Sciences, where he specialized in illustration under the direction of Professor Rolf Escher and received his diploma in 1995.

Artistic approach

Stephan Geisler sees his artistic work as a calling. His studies influenced his drawing technique, which is strongly influenced by the line. He uses the line to set accents and to depict motifs in a reduced form. His working method is gestural, emotional and intuitive, which is reflected in his large-format paintings. In addition to acrylic on canvas, he also uses mixed media and integrates different materials into his works.
