I sign all my artistic works and works "Stellla Polare". My real name is Khulkar YUNUSOVA. I was born in Uzbekistan. I live and work in France. My grandmother gave me the first name Khulkar which means the North Star. The latter determined my artistic signature.
After my studies in economics and management, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry. During my missions I was confronted with children suffering from pediatric oncology in the palliative stage. Aware of death, the slightest moment of calm in their pain was synonymous with happiness for them. This wisdom overturned my static perception of happiness. At the time it included Uzbek social success (home) and French (career, emancipation). Today my happiness has become as ephemeral as the light in constant change and in permanent contrast with the shadow.
Can I be happy for a long time without being afraid of death, without alternating with moments of pain? Why be afraid of death if its only absolutism offers me the focus on the best in the present moment?
