Good afternoon and thanks for your attention to my account.
My name is Sophia, I am 30 years old and for the last 2 years I confidently call myself an artist.
I was born and lived all my life in Siberia - a place where political prisoners and free-thinking intellectuals were sent into exile in the Soviet Union. I think thanks to my roots and powerful history, I can now create my paintings.
2 years ago I moved to New York and this city pushed me to know myself. I plunged into my story and I wanted people to know it the way I did. And then this idea transformed in pure form of art what is for me is a simple creative when you have something important in your soul.
Each work is a reflection of something deeply experienced by me and my task is to convey the experience to the viewer, to convey the mood with the help of color and form.
