It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Artiste-peintre, photographe, enseignante-formatrice et art-thérapeute, Sophie MOREL-SEGRET est passionnée par la nature, les effets de matière, de lumière et les couleurs.
Son parcours de formation est très riche, en effet, elle est reçue à deux concours et elle fait l'Institut d'art visuel d'Orléans, ainsi que deux écoles de photographie et des études de journalisme sur Paris, de lettres et de sciences humaines et sociales sur Orléans, pour terminer par une formation en Art-thérapie.
Dès 1994, Sophie MOREL-SEGRET devient membre des Artistes de Sologne, elle est alors sélectionnée et expose de nombreuses fois sur les salons et en galeries sur Paris, Orléans, Blois et Tours.
Elle expose en mai 1996 au Parc floral d'Orléans pour présenter ses iris à l'aquarelle ainsi que ses compositions florales à l'huile, lors de la fête de l'iris.
En 1996, sa composition florale "Méli mélo d'iris" est sélectionnée par le salon des Artistes Orléanais.
L'artiste part ensuite au Mexique et en basse Californie pour faire des clichés photos.
Au salon de la photographie à Marcilly en Villette (45), elle recevra le 2ème prix couleur, pour ses fleurs.
En 1997, elle fait le salon de peinture de Mardié (45), en 1999 la biennale des artistes indépendants de la région centre, puis en 2000, le salon des indépendants de Paris, et jusqu'à 2002, elle expose à la Galerie Everarts Gallery, proche des champs Elysées à Paris.
Ensuite, c'est dans son atelier-galerie, à Lamotte Beuvron, en plein coeur de la Sologne, en parallèle de son activité d'enseignante- formatrice, qu'elle continuera à peindre.
En décembre 2012, Sophie MOREL-SEGRET est à l'Office de Tourisme des Villages de la Forêt, à Nancay (18).
En 2015, Sophie MOREL-SEGRET donne des cours de peinture et elle se spécialise en Art-thérapie. Elle intervient auprès d'un public souffrant de la maladie d'Alzheimer, Parkinson, d'handicap lourd et depuis 2023 auprès de personnes touchées par le cancer.
