Madagascar as a cradle, Martinique as a setting for early childhood, Guyana as a welcoming land for maturity: I draw my inspiration from these places, both for the work on colors and on the textures or mediums used.
I use observation, touch, reflection, the development of the way of treating, the expected result or the unexpected effects, the adjustments, the means of adapting.
Colorist, figurative, non-realistic. The essential image without the details, everyone can find their story there. Do not impose, suggest, have fun, go outside the frame, play with the diversity of tones, materials, go according to the impulse. Everything remains open and possible. My paintings are a way of interpreting life, non-uniform, leaving the gaze and the meaning free.
