Passionné de peinture et d'art des mon jeune âge, j'ai consacré tout mon temps libre à peindre et à dessiner.
J'ai fréquenté les ateliers de dessins en cours du soir à Montparnasse;
Mes premières toiles datent de 1967.
Après une courte période figurative, je me suis orienté vers l'abstrait. Je peints principalement à la laque, technique que je développe au travers de mes différentes toiles.
Après une période ou je n'utilisais principalement comme couleurs que le noir, l'argenté et le rouge, je me suis ouverts à une palette beaucoup plus colorée.
Je concentre surtout ma technique sur le geste, la spontanéité et les lumières de l'Egypte de mon enfance.
Je crée le plus souvent mes toiles dans une sorte d'urgence émotionnelle.
La couleur, le geste m'emportent et me conduisent vers cet inconnu qui émerge de mon inconscient.
