To create this work i used the original "sanpietrino", The Sanpietrino was born in the Renaissance era, under Pope Sixtus V, and became the pavement of P.zza San Pietro and most of the historical center of Rome and central Italy.

To create this work i used the original "sanpietrino", The Sanpietrino was born in the Renaissance era, under Pope Sixtus V, and became the pavement of P.zza San Pietro and most of the historical center of Rome and central Italy.
"The other side" is the hidden part of the cobblestones which is in contact with the earth and we cannot see it, I've imagined this hidden sides as faces that see and feel us as we walk on them.
The "sanpietrino" is a material durable enough to be used for road paving, but hard and tiring to sculpt and polish by hand.
11x11x8 cm
this little original work will be excellent gift for someone who likes unique art and sculptures.
