Qui est Soilioba?

Né le 30 Avril 1994 à Koun-Ahouzi/Koun-Fao, Soilio Coulibaly dit Soilioba est un jeune artiste ivoirien. Après un parcours des plus brillants dans les meilleures écoles d’art en Côte d’Ivoire et au Maroc, Soilioba. Arrivé en France en septembre 2017, il poursuit aujourd’hui ses études à la FLLASH de l’Université Polytechnique des Hauts de France en Master Arts et Management Artistique. Sa jeune carrière artistique tire ses racines au Conservatoire Régional des Arts et Métiers d’Abengourou où il étudie une année. Ensuite, il passe avec brio le concours d’entrée au prestigieux Centre Technique des Arts Appliqués de Bingerville. Après trois ans, il en sort major de sa promotion.

Soilioba est donc admis à ENBA, où après une année d’étude il obtient une bourse de coopération marocaine pour étudier dans la meilleure école d’arts du Royaume du Maroc, Institut National des Beaux-Arts de Tétouan. Après trois années d’études il obtient le diplôme du premier cycle de l’Institut National des Beaux-arts, avant de prendre son envol pour la France où sa soif de pratique prendra de l’ampleur.

L’art pour l’artiste est une sorte de vecteur qui permet à l’Homme de façonner les outils plastiques afin de rendre visible l’invisible. Il offre une vision moins étriquée du monde extérieur, et il nous renvoie souvent les questions qu’il se pose à lui-même. Ses œuvres traduisent et dénoncent les apparences et les masques qui se cachent derrière une personnalité. 

Depuis la crise ivoirienne et les troubles en Afrique impliquant la jeunesse, pour Soilioba cette situation devient le centre de sa préoccupation et l’une de ses inspirations et sources de travail. La pratique de la peinture chez Soilioba répond à un réel besoin de s'exprimer. Reflétant un questionnement, ses œuvres apportent  une réflexion sur des sujets sociaux comme la politique et surtout la place de la jeunesse.

À travers ses différentes toiles, on découvre un artiste très engagé qui exploite une large gamme de formes et de styles (huiles, craies, stylo, posca, acrylique, œuvres Abstraites, appropriations de photographies, utilisation des textes.)

Un ensemble d'œuvres qui comme un Kaléidoscope, permet de retranscrire et décoder sa vision des situations complexes.
