Юбилейная Выставка Союза Профессиональных Художников Закарпатья
Народився 17 травня 1949 року у селищі Великий Березний на Закарпатті, де проживає нині і працює. Фахову освіту здобув на художньо – графічному факультеті Одеського державного педагогічного інституту ім. К. Ушинського. Вчителює.
У 70 – х роках минулого століття твори успішно експонувалися на обласних виставках, а в 1972 році на республіканському фестивалі мистецтва. На якому за триптих «Ніхто не забутий, ніщо не забуто» був удостоєний звання лауреата і нагороджений Дипломом І ступеня. У 1976 -77 рр. були відзначені акварелі автора «Спокій», «Тиша», «Дощ» та «Вечірній Дзвін».
Згодом стає членом спілки професійних художників Закарпаття.
Серед значних досягнень митця в жанрі сакрального мистецтва можна відзначити ікони для церкви святого Георгія в селі Кострино, участь у реставрації старовинної церкви (1778 р.) в селі Усть – Чорна на Закарпатті. На замовлення архієпископа Кошицького художник виконав копію ікони головного вівтаря костелу святої Алжбети в Словаччині.
У 90 –х роках минулого століття Слободський В. В. працював у Словацькій республіці, де чимало його творів викуплено до приватних колекцій. Багато шанувальників творчості митця з Словаччини, Польщі, Ізраїлю та США.
