A representative of l'Ecole de Paris, Baudo's (Born: Slobodan Ivankovic) art encompasses a broad palette of themes, primarily figures and interiors as well as still lifes and landscapes. 

Born in Banja Luka on September 1946, he began to take a greater interest in painting in his high school years. He decided to enroll in university well before his 18th birthday and got accepted as an exceptional talent. In his first year at the University of Belgrade, his work was recognized and he was honored with an award for the best painting in the study year. The award was one of many to follow.

 After completing his studies he traveled Europe's capitals and got acquainted with the works of the most renowned artists at the time, and during summers,was heading a restoration of byzantin frescos for the UNESCO. 

Paris became his second home as he feels the city offered him thousands of possibilities for expression. He has had the honor of exhibiting his works at renowned Parisian galleries such as Jean Tour,Ginje, and L'oeil de Boeuf, which was managed by Mrs Cerez Franco, the exhibition was reviewed by Jean-Jaques Lévêque, the then-president of the International Association of Art Critics in France. He exhibited at the Francois Petit gallery, which represents and sells the works of world-renowned artists such as Dali, Ernst, Tanguy, Magritte, and others. 

He also worked on several solo and group exhibitions, such as the May Salon in Paris, the PlaceBellecour Gallery in Lyon, the Biennale of Contemporary Art of Menton, and elsewhere. His works are collected and published in the Téléthon Sannois catalogue of great exhibitions 1997, the Art Foundation of the Institut de France, and the overview exhibition entitled 200 Years of Still Life in France at the Granoff Gallery, Place Beauvau in Paris in 2000. 

The Centre National des Beaux Arts has purchased one of his work : "L'homme à la cage". 

His paintings are often exhibited together with world masters such as Picasso, Utrillo, Man Ray, Le Corbusier, Tapies, Dufy, Lanskoy, Klein, Leger, Calder, Corneille and others.

 Baudo continues to paint to this day but has exchanged the fast-paced streets of Paris for the calm scenery of the Slovenian medieval jewel Skofja Loka.
